Accounts Payable SpecialistAbout the CompanyOur client is a well-respected local structural steel and construction companyLooking for a positive team player who is an independent self-starter with a professional attitudeThis role will play a key part in addition to the Staff Accountant and Accounting ManagerResponsibilitiesReview all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval for paymentProcess all check requestsInitiate online banking outgoing ACH and wiresEnter credit card transactions and reconcile firm credit cardsMaintain vendor filesRespond to vendor inquiriesPreferred QualificationsPrior experience as accounts payable clerk and/or routine accounting clerkProficient with MS Word and ExcelExcellent organizational and written and verbal communication skillsTiming is everything.
